An important point when analyzing eclipses and their effects is to understand that, generally, places where the eclipse is visible will see more effects than places where no visibility happens. It is also important to understand that eclipses have long sprawling effects, instead of immediate ones. New Moons and Full Moons affect the weeks around them, indicating monthly trends; Solar Eclipses and Lunar Eclipses affect the months around them, indicating yearly trends. The effects discussed below are things that will tend to happen in the next 6 months.

Solar Eclipse at 04° Virgo, Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra
The Solar Eclipse happens in Uttara Phalguni nakshatra, which can be related to partnerships, rulers, leaders and those in high positions.
The Eclipse chart has a couple of interesting aspects. First of all, Saturn will be in an exact opposition to the Eclipse. This shows a clash of karmic forces, as well as the past, with information coming out now. Along for the ride, Saturn is conjunct Neptune, an aspect that I’ve discussed numerous times; representing a time of cultural change and old illusions being shattered. A third interesting aspect is the Eclipse forming a grand trine with Uranus and Pluto.
By the Saturn association, I can see this Eclipse dealing a lot with deals and agreements between those in power. Things like the Ukraine-Russia negotiation are an example of this.
In some places, this Eclipse could deal with illusions being shattered, specially in regards to financial matters. The Eclipse activates all the Earth signs, so big events related to economics and finance are a trend here.
Visibility wise, this Eclipse will mostly affect Australia and New Zealand, so we could see some event happening around those countries.
Going on a more general level, the Saturn-Sun opposition in this Eclipse is a very interesting one. It shows a trend towards great clashes. Darkness and light, good and evil, etc. On a mundane level, I see this Eclipse (along with other trends) as an indicator of a time of conflict, arguments and violence.
On a personal level, this Solar Eclipse stimulates us to manage and take charge or our lives. The Saturn connection will stimulate some rude awakenings or tough lessons. We could be forced to face problems we usually ignore under this influence. Either way, we should make the best of it by finding things we need to improve.
