Double, double toil and trouble

The technology sector has been troubled recently. With diminishing sales and interest by consumers, legal problems around the world, issues with censorship, regulation and other conflicts. Astrologically, much of this comes from a double influence of Saturn and Ketu in signs related to technology.
Last year, on my Rahu in Pisces predictions I mentioned this downturn, as Ketu in Virgo would bestow problems for the sector. Along with that, Saturn always creates troubles and restrictions for the matters of the sign where it transits. In Aquarius, this deals intimately with technology and innovation. This double influence of Ketu and Saturn has created a really bad time for technology, specially in 2024.
But what about 2025? By the table below, we see that both of the troubling points are shifting. We also see that Jupiter will transit Gemini, the sign of communication.

On a rough and short prediction, I can see things improving beyond April 2025, specially after May. But instead of ending the article here, let’s go a bit deeper.
The almost simultaneous shift of Saturn and Rahu is a very interesting one, as they will switch signs. Saturn going from Aquarius to Pisces, Rahu going from Pisces to Aquarius.
While Ketu diminishes or reduces the matters of the sign where it transits. Rahu does the opposite, it highlights or exalts them. So the blockages of Saturn will be replaced with the excitement of Rahu, and vice versa. Aquarius matters will feel freer and tend to prosper, including technology. As a side note, I recall that the first iPhone was launched in 2007, while Rahu was transiting Aquarius.
Jupiter in Gemini will aspect the sign of Aquarius, also improving things. But it will specially help social media, as communications are ruled by Gemini itself. With that in mind, I believe strong obstacles will appear against any censorship or regulation efforts.
Pisces matters are an interesting matter. In the long term, Saturn in Pisces will tend to favor the sign, as the conjunction with Neptune promotes a new cultural age of sorts. But this is a longer term process, not without pain in the initial moments (as with anything Saturn), that will bear fruit years and years away.
In the short term, Pisces matters will be in much trouble. Saturn always represents a low point, but coming from a Rahu transit, this will be specially painful. It is a riches to rags story. Going from a luxury penthouse to the slums. Pisces rules wise elders and advisers, which can be related to regulatory boards in the modern world.
So not only will the planetary shifts in 2025 favor technology and communication companies. They will also create blockages for the regulatory boards and bureaucrats troubling the sector. In many ways, this is a perfect storm for the tech industry. Overall, I expect the social media and technology sectors to see improvements in 2025.
