June 2026 in Astrology

June signals a moment of change, as Jupiter enters Cancer on the very first day of the month, moving away from the energies of 2025. We approach an interesting summer.

Starting from last month, we ended it with a Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio. This sign always begets some mischief. With that in mind, these first weeks of June have this intense energy to them. There is a great message of change now. It can deal with many reorientations or new agreements in the world.

Some miscommunications or odd announcements are likely to happen around the 3rd, as Mercury will form some odd aspects to Neptune and Rahu.

The 2nd half of the month is kicked off by a New Moon in Migrashira and the Sun entering Gemini. Both show a moment of collaboration, mingling and sharing in the world. It can be a good moment for travel.

Around the 20th, we have double duty. Uranus will form a Square to Rahu. On the same day, Mars will enter Taurus. The Uranus aspect can deal with turbulences, surprises or some kind of upheaval.

The Mars change is interesting, but milder. Mars will transit Taurus up until August 2nd. Mars in Taurus is a way less dynamic placement than Mars in Aries, which was all about movement. Mars here is about calming down, focusing and taking your time on what really matters.

On a mundane level, Mars in Taurus can deal a lot with financial or economic disputes. So in the months ahead, we can see some intensifications in trade wars and other economic conflicts. Similarly, Mars in Taurus can deal with inner strife between institutions; like the executive and the judiciary, for instance. This type of conflict could be prominent now.

The month will end on an interesting note, as Mercury will turn retrograde on the 29th, staying retrograde up until July 23rd. The usual precautions are advised:

Mercury is the planet of communications, so everything related to communications could be slowed down. Computer problems, miscommunications, delays in deliveries and other kinds of issues become possible. Avoid mistakes by double checking and confirming things, and try to be patient when problems arise.

Mercury will go retrograde in Cancer, but spend most of the transit in Gemini. Still, the retrograde cycle signals a longer transit in both Gemini and Cancer. The Gemini portion can deal a lot with uncertainty, back and forth and instability. The Cancer portion can show emotional issues and petty issues being brought into focus.

From June 23rd, up until July 4th, we will have Mercury, Venus and Jupiter all in Cancer. This 10 day period can deal a lot with these emotional or petty issues coming into play in the world. July 4th and 5th can be specially complicated dates, in this regard.

The Mercury-Jupiter combo is also interesting by itself, but that is an August matter, that I will discuss later on.

Also on the 29th, a Full Moon will happen in Purva Ashada. The combo of Mercury retrograde, this Cancer emphasis, and a Full Moon squaring Neptune is very interesting to me. The end of June and early July can show some kind of turbulence or conflict because of this.

Some kind of emotional event or deceptive affair could be triggered under this combo of influences.

Summary

I’m kinda tired and kinda late to this (it’s the 2nd), so I’m writing this a little shorter than usual.

Mundane

The month can trigger many changes, as Jupiter enters Cancer and there is a new focus in the world.

The first part of the month, after a Scorpio Full Moon, can deal with mischief and conflict.

The Gemini shift, around mid-June, can trigger greater collaboration and some degree of calm.

Around the 20th, with a Uranus-Rahu aspect, we could see some surprises or turbulences in the world.

The change to Mars in Taurus, also around the 20th, can mark the months ahead as a time of economic discussions and conflict.

The month ends with a strong Cancer emphasis, strenghtened by Mercury retrograde also in Cancer. Emotional and petty issues could be prominent under these influences.

Notable dates in June:

  • 3rd
  • 9th
  • 17th
  • 20th
  • 23rd to July 5th
  • 29th

Personal

On a personal level, this month can deal a lot with renewal, as triggered by the Jupiter sign change. I wrote a full text about it, where I mention some of the personal results of this transit, and I recommend reading it.

But back to June, the month is a mixed bag. It can be a good time for travel, specially around the middle. But Mercury retrograde on the 29th can deal with some troubles or delays. I’ve travelled with Mercury retro before, it’s not the end of the world, just be careful and attentive.

The Cancer energies pilling up, around late June and well into July, can be a great trigger for many of us. It can be a time to look back, engage with our emotions and make amends with the past in some degree.

Nostalgia can be strong under this influence. Be aware that we can’t go back in time, but we can try to build things that give us similar feelings as to those before.

April 2026 in Astrology

April starts amidst the War in Iran, the disruptions caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and other issues around the world. This begets some recaps and considerations about the future.

The month starts tense, as Mars will trigger the February Solar Eclipse, promoting turmoil and violent incursions. Similarly, as we head towards a Lunar Eclipse on the 3rd, we can be uncertain or unstable. On that note, military conflicts will tend to continue for much of early March. This first week of March can be very odd, specially around the 3rd.

March 2026 predictions

Along for the ride as well, March had a very tight Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Separating, but still going on in April. Neptune represents oil, in mundane astrology, while Saturn shows restrictions. Mercury retrograde, throughout last month, also showed stalled negotiations and a repetitive back-and-forth. Also worth noting that the Solar Eclipse in February happened conjunct the natal Moon in the birth chart of the United States, showing an eventful and transformative moment in the country’s life.

Going into the long term, I have to get into Uranus in Taurus. Uranus shows disruptions, Taurus shows the things that are stable and guaranteed in life. So Uranus here shows disruptions in our way of life, in the stability of the world, and how things usually tend to go.

These disruptions in global shipping, as well as the flow of fuel around the world, are a great expression of the Uranian disruptions this transit will tend to bring. Uranus entered Taurus last year, and it will be in the sign until around 2032. So other events, similar or not to this one, will tend to happen in the coming years; shaking up supplies and commodities around the world.

So, in the long term, I see this conflict as a clear expression of the Uranus in Taurus impulse. If we look carefully, all the themes about it are related to Taurus and the second house. Supplies, money, stability, long-standing agreements, traditional institutions, etc.

In the not so long term, the second half of 2026 can deal a lot with reforms stemming from this conflict. The Saturn-Neptune influence will wane by them, and the aftermath of this conjunction usually deals with reforms. For instance, in 1989, there was a great oil spill by the Exxon Valdez during the last conjunction. The aftermath of said accident dealt with new regulations and safety standards.

In our current predicament, we could see changes in manufacturing, to increase local supplies and reduce the reliance on global shipping. Alternative fuels or new energy forms can also be highlighted. Some oil producing countries might change their pricing policies for oil, maybe increasing local subsidies.

Going into April, Mars will enter Pisces and join Saturn and Neptune. Mars is a dynamic influence, it fires up and activates whatever it touches.

Is this good, or is this bad? Is a question every astrologer is asked, some will answer with wishful thinking. I will answer with sincerity, I don’t know. Je sais pas. I’m not sure.

Mars can fire up things, and cause a quick resolution to this conflict. Maybe. It can also create further escalations and make the whole affair longer.

The only certainty with this Mars is fieriness. We will see more direct, stronger and more resolute actions. Around the exact conjunctions with Neptune and Saturn (13th and 19th, respectively), we could see stronger military actions or pushes happening.

The Full Moon starts this month right on the 1st, it happens in Hasta nakshatra, a star associated with trickery, deceit and underhanded tactics. It has a theme of deception, not that different to Neptune. The Full Moon will also happen alongside a quincunx to Mercury, showing communication failures. As well as a square to Jupiter; which shows lack of wisdom, as well as a key moment in the year.

A few hours after the Full Moon, Mars will enter Pisces on the 2nd. As with the ramifications explained above. Mars will be in Pisces until May 11th, when it will enter Aries. That end, in May, might show a turbulent moment. As Mars changing between Water and Fire signs usually tends to show extremes in the world, with wild weather or tense events.

Mars in Pisces, per se, is not a bad placement or transit. But with Mars going over Neptune and Saturn, things take a different turn, specially now in April. In May, the transit can tone down, as Mars will be away from Saturn.

On April 10th, Mercury will enter Pisces, where it will transit until the 29th. This is the weakest sign for Mercury, showing diffusive communications and a hard time getting a message across. It goes along with the themes of deception seen from other factors this month.

The 14th has the Sun entering Aries, which is the strongest sign for the Sun, and an overall good placement. It shows strong leadership, which can be a positive in a time of conflict, so a silver-lining of sorts.

The New Moon this month happens on Ashwini nakshatra, a star that deals with healing, travel, movement and an overall sense of freedom. It could show some improvements to our situation, specially around May.

Summary

Mundane

The war and its consequences around the world, with higher prices and disruptions in supply chains are a clear expression of the long term trend, with Uranus in Taurus. From now until 2032, we can see similar events unveiling instability and disruptions.

In the short term, this month, Mars enters Pisces where it will touch Neptune and Saturn. Mars will fire up the conflicts around the world. Whether that will lead to a quick resolution, or further escalations, remains up for the debate. But around the dates of these conjunctions (13th and 19th) we can see further escalations. Specially around the 19th, with the Saturn conjunction, we could see strong escalations.

The month starts with a Full Moon in Hasta, a star that deals with deception. The conjunctions of Saturn and Mars with Neptune will activate this planet, that similarly deals with deception. Mercury will be in Pisces between April 10th and the 29th, Mercury here deals with miscommunications.

Putting it all together, April can deal a lot with deception, a murky vision and a hard time getting a clear picture of what is happening. Propaganda, lies and miscommunications will be very strong now. Things will be clearer in May. For now, much will be up in the air.

Notable dates in April:

  • 1st/2nd
  • 8th
  • 13th/14th
  • 19th
  • 18th-25th
  • 29th

Personal

On a personal level, Saturn-Neptune tends to unveil crisis, not just in the outer world. Bouts of depression and dissatisfaction could’ve been common last month and in late February, as this conjunction was very tight then.

As said above, Mars will energize these planets. In our lives, this can mean taking action, venturing out and making change.

This month is a great time to break out of erratic patterns, repetitive behaviors and past issues in our lives. Stop moving in circles, try something new, experiment and grow.
