An important point when analyzing eclipses and their effects is to understand that, generally, places where the eclipse is visible will see more effects than places where no visibility happens. It is also important to understand that eclipses have long sprawling effects, instead of immediate ones. New Moons and Full Moons affect the weeks around them, indicating monthly trends; Solar Eclipses and Lunar Eclipses affect the months around them, indicating yearly trends. The effects discussed below are things that will tend to happen in the next 6 months.
Visibility: Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, West in North America, East in South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic, Antarctica.
Lunar Eclipse at 21° Aquarius, Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra
This Lunar Eclipse happens in Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra, a fierce nakshatra with strong meanings, related to radical or extreme views, as well as some violent or shocking trends. The star also deals with duplicity, leading double lives, or hiding something.
The Eclipse happens with a trine to Jupiter, which promotes some sense of luck and expansion. But the main aspect of the chart is an almost exact quincunx to Venus, which promotes disagreements and possible issues of disharmony.
All things considered, I believe this Eclipse could deal with twists and turns in regards to the Ukraine-Russia situation. The Eclipse will be visible in the region, and a deal is being made, so the Venus influence of this Eclipse could promote turmoil or surprises.
The Eclipse will be visible in Europe as a whole, so changes or events in the continent are likely too.
In other areas of the world, this Eclipse will tend to promote betrayals. People walking away on formerly made agreements, walking out on former allies and looking out for new and better pastures. I’m not privy to the politics of all the countries in the world, but I believe the months ahead will be a strong time for betrayal.
Similarly, any deal being made now (late August and early September) is bound for change and possible betrayals, as people will have duplicitous intentions.
The days around the Eclipse, specially the 6th, can deal with chaotic and shocking events.
On a personal level, this Eclipse is very emotionally charging, P.Bhadrapada deals a lot with the dichotomy between light and darkness. As first comes the storm, the days around this Lunar Eclipse aren’t particularly happy, as we deal with darkness and thunder. But afterwards, we will learn important information that can lead us towards great improvement.

Last month I mentioned that we were in for a hot summer, and June gave us that. With major riots and protests in California, then with the Israel-Iran conflict, we saw great tension and violence manifesting. The way I see it, July will probably continue this trend, with other turning points and events.
I’ve been, for months now, talking about the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and July will be an important point for this transit. In early July, both Neptune and Saturn will turn retrograde, stationing at about 7 degrees Pisces. Both planets will be in a very tight conjunction for the entire month of July, and a big chunk of August.
Astrologically, whenever a conjunction is tight or close (at about 3 degrees), that represents the more prominent or eventful portion of a transit. So July will be a time when Saturn-Neptune truly comes alive.
This is a time of cultural change. Hard and uncomfortable truths coming out. Old taboos being dispersed. And overall change around the way we perceive and interact with the world.
New illusions, new taboos and new lies will arise; as that is just the way the world works. But for now, we can see some of the “old order” being dispersed and shifted, maybe even in shocking ways.
With both Saturn and Neptune turning retrograde early in July, this early portion of the month can be specially eventful.
With Neptune retrograde, we have a stronger grasp of reality in the months ahead. With Saturn retrograde as well, this becomes an interesting moment to deal with reality, neither too pessimistic or too optimistic. It can be a great moment to problem solve and improve.
The Full Moon this month happens on Purva Ashada nakshatra, which is related to reinvigoration, raising oneself up and gaining strength. On the positive, this is a great time for anything that improves our mood and disposition. On the other hand, this star can deal a lot with gaining force for a conflict, so it could deal with strong declarations and public clashes.
After the Full Moon, we enter everyone’s favorite astrological event, Mercury retrograde! Mercury will be retrograde between July 18th and August 11th. The usual precautions are recommended.
Mercury is the planet of communications, so everything related to communications could be slowed down. Computer problems, miscommunications, delays in deliveries and other kinds of issues become possible. Avoid mistakes by double checking and confirming things, and try to be patient when problems arise.
Going back to our hot summer, Mars-Ketu is another conjunction that will highlight this. Ketu exacerbates Mars, so this conjunction tends to promote extreme events, violence and attacks. The exact conjunction will be on the 22nd, but the aspect will be with us for most of July. So again, we can have war tensions, protests and events of the sort.
The New Moon this month happens on Pushya nakshatra, and it will be an interesting New Moon. It will happen at 7° Cancer, at an exact trine to Saturn and Neptune, it will also happen in opposition to Pluto. So the New Moon can trigger big events or turning points, specially in regards to hard or ugly truths, as well as conflicts.

July will continue the trend of June, being an eventful month on many fronts. The star of the show is the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. We are in a strong moment of change in the world, and the events of July will deal a lot with that.
Hard truths and old secrets could be revealed. We can similarly see protests, violence and great clashes around the world.
I feel repetitive writing this, as much of what I said last month applies now.
Still, I would highlight late July as a time to be watched, specially around the New Moon on the 24th; as a lot of events could be triggered by it.
The 12th and the 16th should also be noted.
Personal
On a personal level, I feel repetitive again, July is much like June. It is a time to turn a new leaf and move forward. The Saturn emphasis in the air is pretty much about creating structures and building our lives. So that is what we should be focused on doing.
In other news, with Mercury retrograde, we should be mindful of communications and travel. Always double checking and being cautious.
With Mars-Ketu, we have to be careful about energy and anger. We have to be mindful of other people, who could be lashing out or angry now. Managing that and trying to find peace is important. For ourselves, we should manage our own anger and energy, by finding productive outlets like exercise or projects. Maybe sex even, why not?
