When the Lunar Nodes enter a new sign/house, we tend to notice some immediate shifts related to their new houses. New ideas, new focuses or big decisions could come around that time.

Rahu’s house usually indicates an area of obsession, or focus, where you concentrate and put a lot of your energy. For instance, Rahu entering the 10th could put a big emphasis on dealing with your career or your contribution to the world. While Rahu in the 4th could show a time where you focus a lot on your feelings and inner needs; it could also show buying a lot of things and trying to improve your home.

Ketu’s transit house shows an area where we find, or try to find, closure. This could deal with letting go of something, like abandoning a project. Or with accepting something and learning to deal with it, rather than trying to constantly fix or change it. Ketu can feel like a void or an endless pit.

Ketu, in my view, is the most complicated portion. So it begets a longer explanation.

For instance, a Ketu in the 4th transit could create an emotional hole, where you feel that other people neglect you or don’t care about your emotions. Closure could be found by learning to regulate your own emotions, instead of solely relying on other people to help you through them.

Ketu in the 10th could hurt your reputation, or create problems in your career. Usually, this comes as a reflection of the need for a change of course, or a new path. Closure comes from learning what you need to change, and cutting away from pursuits that no longer fit you.

With Aquarius and Leo specifically, Rahu is in his element, being a disruptive influence on a disruptive sign. Ketu is interesting in Leo, being a double-edged sword there.

Rahu in Aquarius favors anything new, innovative and daring. So this is a good time to experiment, take chances and put your crazy ideas in practice. Rahu in Aquarius will make us more rebellious and innovative. We can feel fearless about change during this transit, making this a great moment for new beginnings. Learning and using technology is strongly favored now too, being another great idea for this transit.

Ketu in Leo puts an influence that is against big personalities, on the sign of big personalities. So anything dealing with bragging and self-promotion will be shunned, to some degree, with this transit.

This Ketu transit is a great opportunity to reduce the ego, learn humility and maybe let go of restrictions around that. Thinking that you are beneath something, too good for something or other similar thoughts are some of the things that we should be letting go of with this transit.

A final point with Ketu in Leo deals with wisdom and tradition. This is a great time to investigate your family history and genealogy, learn more about traditions or lessons from the past.
